Desktop Hardware Issue Phone/Headset

Support Description

Teams phones are provided for offices across all Blinn Campuses.  Common resolutions involve rebooting the phone, restarting the app, clearing the cache, and checking call settings.

To fix a Microsoft Teams headset issue, first check the Teams device settings and Windows sound settings to ensure the correct headset is selected and not muted.  You may also need to check Teams and Windows microphone permissions. For wireless headsets, unpair and re-pair the device, and try disabling "exclusive control" in the sound settings.

If that doesn't work, a technician my need to remove/reinstall the app, update your headset's drivers and firmware, or check for Teams software updates.  Report an issue for additional assistance.
