Service Description
Video Conferencing Service Requests are available for Blinn College approved events. It is requested that a single person be the contact for all information regarding an event setup. Staff members may submit a Service Request for Video Conferencing assistance in a classroom, or for a meeting or event.
An IT Video Conferencing specialist will collaborate with you prior to your event to assess the appropriate video conferencing equipment for your specific event and location. If requested, on the day of the event, a technician can be available to assist with setup and operation. Blinn College IVC rooms, classrooms. and conference rooms are equipped with the necessary video technology to share video and content with attendees both locally and remotely. Additionally, various desktop video conferencing tools are also available to meet specific needs based on the requests made.
Helpful Hints
Service is available on a "first come, first serve" basis. It is best to plan early and notify us later if the assistance is no longer needed. That said, please be courteous and allow 1 week (7 days) advanced notice. We will make every effort to fulfill all requests submitted in a timely manner. Late requests, however, are subject to equipment and personnel availability.
Please provide the date, time, location, and a list of all necessary equipment. Please specify if on-site tech support is needed for the event.
What Happens Next?
Submit the Request Service form, and someone from IT will assist you within normal business hours.
