Support Description
Wireless access to various Blinn networks is provided across all campus with the exception of BlinnConsole which is only for access in the residence hall environment on the Brenham campus. Report an Issue accessing any Blinn wireless network, including but not limited to:
- Wireless Coverage Issues: Problems with the Internet Service Provider's network or a local access point
- Poor Performance: Network performance that is sluggish or issues with high latency
- Connectivity Issues: Inability to connect to the network at all, or intermittent connections that drop and reconnect frequently
- Interference from Physical Objects: Walls, furniture, and certain building materials like concrete or metal
- Configuration Errors: Incorrect network settings with IP Address or DNS settings
When you fill out the form, you will be asked to provide:
- The network affected (Eduroam, BlinnStaff, Blinn Console)
- The type of device affected
- The operating system of the device
- The location where the issue occured
- The date and time the issue occured
- Any other information that can be provided.
What Happens Next?
Report an Issue. A support specialist will determine the incident's priority based on impact and urgency, and assign it to the appropriate IT Team. Someone from IT will assist you during normal business hours.
