Local/Network Printer Move

Service Description


Request Service to move a local, network, or Pharos printer to a new location. Once your request is received, someone will reach out to verify the details of the move and determine the suitability of the new location. If power is needed in the new location, coordination with Facilities Management will be necessary. Keep in mind that with printer moves, the network name of the printer may also change. Once all work is complete, a technician will assist your department with the new printer name (if a change was made),and instructions on how to connect to the printer. Be sure to share this information throughout your department with any staff that will need access to the printer.

What Happens Next?


Submit the Request Service form, and someone from IT will assist you within normal business hours.
