Office Hardware Install

Service Description


Blinn College provides one laptop or one desktop for full-time employees with approved standard configurations. Please provide the exact location of install, purpose and expected usage, and specific hardware and software needs.  

Standard equipment includes a desktop or laptop with a docking station, a monitor, and peripherals as detailed below: 

  • Additional monitor(s)
  • Mouse and keyboard (optional for laptops/tablets)
  • Optional items:  headset, webcam, speakers

Requests for devices outside of this standard require a business justification and supervisor approval.

This service is to request an install of new equipment only.  If you need to Report an Issue with existing hardware, please use the Office Hardware Issue service.

What Happens Next?


Submit the Request Service form, and someone from IT will assist you within normal business hours.
