Overview
All faculty, staff, and students at Blinn College are assigned an A5 license for O365 which allows the user to download Office 365 applications to their personal computer for use while attending or employed by the college.
Step by Step Guide
Install Office 365
1. Login to the myBlinn portal and access Office 365. Select Microsoft 365 Applications.
Click on Apps
Select Install apps and Microsoft 365 apps
2. Follow the steps to install Office. Click Run. Click Yes to begin installation. Download my take a while, be patient. Click Close after reviewing steps.
Click Run (in Edge), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).
3. You will see a We're getting things ready...
Please wait while Office prepares your Office.
4. The Office applications are identified.
5. The Office applications are installed.
6. Office Installation is complete. Click Close.
7. Open any Office application to accept the Microsoft License Agreement.
*Note: If after installation you are prompted for a license key or an Office 365 account, please select the Office 365 account sign in. Login using your full Blinn email address (username@buc.blinn.edu for students or username@blinn.edu for faculty/staff) and your Blinn password.
