Overview
On occasion you might notice the control toolbar for the YuJa Software Recorder has disappeared, making it difficult to pause and stop your recordings. If this has happened to you, follow these steps to get it back.
Step by Step Guide
1. End your recording session. You cannot get the toolbar back until the recording software is no longer running. Ctrl-Shift-F is the keyboard shortcut to stop recording, if you cannot access the toolbar.
2. Look in your system tray at lower right and click the up arrow button to show all minimized processes. Click the YuJa Software Capture icon.

3. Right click on the YuJa Software Capture icon and select “Settings” from the popup menu. You may need to sign in under SSO at this point. If needed, login with your usual Blinn credentials.

4. You will now be able to access the Software Capture program’s Application Settings. Toggle “Always hide Recording Toolbar” to “Only show Recording Toolbar when recording,” the factory default. It will now show up the next time you make a recording. Click Save.
