This issue occurs if the browser being used is set up to block third-party cookies. To fix this issue the browser settings will need to be changed to allow third party cookies from the .blinn.edu domain or to all all third party cookies. How to enable third party cookies in Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome on your computer
  2. Click the Customize and control Chrome icon in the top right corner of the browser. This is an icon with 3 vertical dots
  3. Select Settings from the drop down menuUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Click Privacy and Security in the left hand sidebar
  5. Click the Third-party Cookies box in the center of the pageUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Select the Allow third-party cookies radio button
    1. If you would like to only allow cookies for Blinn, you can add [*.]blinn.edu under Sites allowed to use third-party cookies and select the Block third-party cookies radio button

Following these steps will correct the issue and you will no longer receive the 'Invalid or Missing State' error.
