Overview
By default, YuJa records from whatever the computer has available. Usually, especially with a laptop, this means it will record from the webcam as well as what is going on in the monitor. Recording both the webcam and the screen will result in less real estate for both during playback. In some instances, users may want just the monitor recorded. Or, especially in the case of assignments, users may want just the webcam to record.
Step by Step Guide
To record only one source, users will need to turn off one or the other before recording. After launching the YuJa Video Software Capture program, adjustments can be made in the menu to the left.
Under Video Source, a laptop’s integrated webcam can be shut off. This will result in only the laptop’s monitor being recorded.

Under the screen menu, a particular monitor can be selected if the computer has more than one. Conversely, if only the webcam is desired, screen recording can be turned off by sliding the appropriate toggle.
Finally, under Advanced Settings, a particular monitor can be chosen if desired.
