Overview

To set the Safari popup blocker, open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, tap Safari, and toggle the Block Pop-ups switch to your desired on or off state. On a Mac, open Safari, select Settings (or Preferences) from the menu bar, go to the Websites tab, select Pop-up Windows, and then configure the settings to block or allow pop-ups for specific sites or all websites.
Step by Step Guide
On iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Toggle the Block Pop-ups switch on to block them, or off to allow them.
On a Mac:
- Open Safari.
- Click on the Safari menu in the top-left corner and select Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Websites tab.
- Select Pop-up Windows from the left-hand sidebar.
- You will see a list of recently visited websites. You can set each site to block and notify, block, or allow pop-ups.
- To set a global rule for all other websites, use the option at the bottom of the window, such as "When visiting other websites".
