Overview
On occasion, a professor might require students to complete an assignment via video. YuJa allows students to create videos and store them in their YuJa accounts.
Step by Step Guide
If professors wish to see the student videos, students can simply share a link. Students can follow directions on finding direct links to share here: https://help.yuja.com/knowledgebase/sharing-content-using-direct-links/
However, professors may wish to see the actual mp4 file, the physical copy as it were, of the video. Students can download their YuJa videos to their desktops in mp4 format, then upload the files into Dropbox.
Hover over the video with your mouse and choose More from the menu. Choose Downloads from the list and click “Download media.” (see graphic) The mp4 will be saved in the downloads folder.
1. Open blinn.yuja.com and sign in.
2. Once signed in, click “Manage Media” at the top of the page so that you can go to the top of your file directory and find the desired video.
3. Find the desired video and hover your mouse over it. On the right you will see a small menu bar. Click “More.”
4. From the next menu, click “Downloads” at left and select “Audio and Video Content.” Then click “Download.”
5. From the “Request Download Media” screen, select “Single file,” then click “Request Media.”
6. You will get a confirmation screen. Click “Close.” You should get an email when the videos become available to download. This process may take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours depending on how busy the cloud servers are at the moment.
