Overview
Whoever logs in first has moderator rights by default. Professors should maintain moderator rights. Use the X Panel to switch between the Solstice Pod screen and the monitor. Solstice output will be either HDMI or HDMI 2, depending on classroom setup.
Step by Step Guide
1. Students need to be on the Blinn network. They should type in the IP address on the screen. If it’s the first time for their device, the Solstice Pod will offer the appropriate app and configuration for their device. Later they can just choose the room name from the app.
2. They should enter their real name so you know who will be given the screen.
3. Once the software is installed on their machine, they will be prompted to enter the key on the Solstice screen. This is a sort of PIN that prevents unauthorized use.

1. As moderator, you will receive a message indicating someone wants to connect to the Pod.
2. You can reject or approve the request, or make them the moderator (not recommended).
3. Once the person attempts to share, you can approve or reject the request.

4. You can see who is connected, disconnect them or make them moderator, all from the moderation screen.
