Overview
BCC is used to discreetly send emails to multiple recipients by hiding their email addresses from one another. This prevents others from seeing who received the email and protects their privacy, which also reduces the chance of accidental "reply all" storms and helps avoid spam filters.
Step by Step Guide
1. Open a new blank email and fill out the subject line and message body.
2. Place your own email address in the To: field.
3. Place all of your recipients’ email addresses in the BCC: field. Be sure to separate the email addresses with semi-colons.
4. Double-check that you have included an email address for each recipient that needs to receive the email.
5. Click the Send button.
If you do not see the BCC: Field, click on the TO: field and a secondary window will open.
