Many instructors want to allow their students to view past quizzes in order to prepare for a larger quiz or final exam. The settings for each quiz can be adjusted to allow this.
Directions for the Instructor:
1. Edit the quiz (Edit Course -> Quizzes -> Click on Quiz link)
2. Go to the Evaluation & Feedback box on the right to open it.
3. Under the When published, display to learners heading, click the dropdown menu and select what you want the students to see.
4. Click Save and Close.
Note: If you add this view before the students take the quiz, they will be able to see it immediately when they submit the quiz. If you do not want this, do the following to schedule a view:
1. Follow instructions 1 and 2 above.
2. Under the When published, display to learners heading, click the Customize Quiz Results Displays link.
3. On the pop up window, click the +Additional View link.
4. Choose a date you want the additional view to display.
5. Check the box to Display attempt grade and click the menu under Questions and choose an option.
6. Make additional adjustments as needed.
7. Click the Create button.
8. Click OK. In the Evaluation & Feedback box, you will now see a summary of the additional view.
9. Click Save and Close.
Instructions to give the students to view their quiz feedback:
1. Go to the Progress menu, then choose Class Progress.
2. Click the Quizzes option on the left side menu.
3. Find the Quiz, click left arrow by the word Details to open up that area. (Do NOT click on the name of the quiz)
4. Click the Attempt link.
