Body

First Step:

  1. Go to your eCampus course.
  2. Click on the Buc Books menu and choose E- Book Access. The BNC First Day Portal will open.
  3. On the BNC Portal, you may see one of four different results for your book:
    • The name of your book with a green Launch Courseware button.
    • The name of your book with a green Reveal Access Code button.
    • The name of your book and the message: "This is publisher delivered courseware. To access your courseware content, navigate to the publisher integration in your LMS."
    • The name of your course and the message, "You currently have no materials associated with this course."

Second Step:

  1. Launch Courseware button
    • Click the button.
    • The publisher site should open.  You do not need an access code if using the Buc Books program.
    • This is how you will access your book every time.
    • This type of link can be found in many History courses.
  2. Reveal Access Code button (Pearson)
    • Click the button. a panel will slide in from the right.
    • Click the copy link under the code.
    • Close the window. DO NOT CLICK ON ANY URL LINKS PROVIDED.
    • Back in eCampus, find the access point to the publisher, which is usually located on the course homepage.
    • Click the Open Pearson link, sign into your Pearson account if needed.
    • When asked for the access code, click in the first box and paste the copied code.
    • What if there is no access code?  Call the Blinn Bookstore for help (979-300-5805).
  3. "Publisher delivered courseware" message (McGraw-Hill, Achieve)
    • Close the BNC window.
    • In your eCampus course, find the Publisher access portal.
      • McGraw-Hill is usually on the course home page, bottom-right.
      • Achieve is usually on the course homepage all the way at the bottom, under the News items.
      • If the Publisher access is not in one of these places, check the content page. Your instructor should have a specific module with the publisher link in it. It may be near the syllabus module.
      • If you cannot find the link, please ask your instructor where to find it.
    • You do not need an access code for this type of publisher if using the Buc Books program.
  4. "No materials associated" message - There are several reasons why you may see this message.
    • Your books are not available online.
      • Click on the Buc Books menu
      • Choose the Book List Option. You will be taken to a page that will explain how you can get your books.
      • Alternatively, call the Blinn Bookstore (979-300-5805).
    • Your instructor has not given Publisher information to the Blinn Bookstore.
      • Contact your instructor.
      • Contact the Blinn Bookstore (979-300-5805).

If your situation does not fit into one of these scenarios, contact the Blinn Online helpdesk at 979-209-7298.
