Concourse Getting Started Guide

Overview

The link for concourse is https://blinn.campusconcourse.com/ There is also a Concourse button on the my.blinn.edu page, typically placed near the ones for Office 365 and eCampus:

You will need to be logged into the Blinn system through Single-sign on to access the program, using your Blinn credentials for my.blinn.edu.

Step by Step Guide

Update Your Profile

  1. Faculty must update their individual account (profile) contact information and curriculum vitae.
  2. In the top right corner of the Concourse page click Account to expand the drop down list.
  3. On the drop down list click Profile. The Contact Information and Curriculum Vitae editor page displays.
  4. Copy and paste from a document or type your contact and vitae information in the editor’s text boxes.
  5. Click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
  6. To EDIT follow this same procedure.

Open a Course

  1. click on the title of the course to open the course.
  2. Go to the left corner and click on Syllabus in the gray bar and select EDIT from the dropdown menu.
  3. Areas faculty may edit will have a yellow pencil. Click on the yellow pencil and the area will open to edit.

 

Edit an Uploaded Syllabus

  1. Edit the original Word document stored on your computer and SAVE changes on your local drive.
  2. Login to Concourse and select the course title. The currently uploaded syllabus opens.
  3. In the gray navigation bar that displays above syllabus content, select the Syllabus link then click on Edit. NOTE: To retrieve a copy of your syllabus from Concourse, click on the linked filename (link in blue text) of the uploaded syllabus and download a copy of the uploaded syllabus to your computer. Then edit the downloaded syllabus, save your changes on your hard drive, and re-upload the edited copy.
  4. The Edit file details page displays, click the Browse button. The “Choose File to Upload” dialog box displays.
  5. Locate the updated syllabus on your computer and click the “Open” button.
  6. The file path displays in the “Replace” text box. Click the “Save” button.

Submit Syllabus for Review by Division

  1. Login to Concourse
  2. Select a Course Title
  3. When the syllabus opens, select AUDIT in Gray Menu bar.
  4. A new window will open. Click the gray “Submit it” button.
