Extracting Pages in Adobe

Overview

To extract pages in Adobe, use the Organize Pages tool in Acrobat to select and extract pages as a new PDF, or use the online tool where you upload a file and select pages to extract and download. For advanced or automated extractions, Adobe offers the PDF Extract API for developers.

Step by Step Guide

Using Adobe Acrobat

  1. Open the PDF you want to extract from in Adobe Acrobat.
  2. Go to the Organize Pages tool in the tool center.
  3. Select the pages you want to extract by clicking on their thumbnails. You can hold the Shift key to select a range of pages, or Ctrl to select non-consecutive pages.
  4. Click Extract in the toolbar.
