How to Release Final Calculated Grade in Your eCampus Gradebook

  1. Go to Progress -> Grades
  2. Choose Enter Grades
  3. The column next to the students' names is the Final Calculated Grade column. If the grades have been released, then you should see an OPEN EYE icon.
  4. If not, then follow these instructions to fix:
    • STEP 1: Choose the Setup Wizard tab
    • Go to Step 2 of the wizard. Tick the Final Calculated Grade option and then Continue.
    • Check the 'Automatically Release Final Grade' box.
    • Click Continue until you get past all 7 steps. Click Finish to end the wizard.
    • STEP 2: In your gradebook, Go to the Enter Grades tab. You should now see an eye icon in the Final Calculated Grade column (first column after names). If the eye icon is open, then the grades have been released.
    • If the eye icon has a slash through it, then do the following:
    • Click the down arrow after the Final Calculated Grade column name.
    • Click ENTER GRADES.
    • On the next screen, look to the right at the BOTTOM of the chart. If you see Page 1 of x, then change the 20 per page to 200 per page. This way you get all of the students at once.
    • Check the select all box directly above the first name on the chart. All students should then be selected.
    • After all of the students are selected, click the Release/Unrelease link at the top of the chart.
    • All of the boxes in the Release Final Calculated Grade column should now be checked.
    • Click SAVE.
    • Go back to gradebook Enter Grades screen to make sure the open eye icon appears next to grades in Final Calculated Grade column.
